Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of nycbox.org. By reading the site you accept them.
What this service is. nycbox.org is an editorial guide. It publishes descriptions of hotel buildings and how they are laid out. It is informational only.
We are not a travel agent. The site takes no reservations, sells nothing, holds no inventory and processes no payments. Any contract about a stay is made between you and the hotel.
How the descriptions are made. Every description is written from published sources and expressed in our own words. Nothing on this site is an architectural plan, a specification, a survey or a guarantee about a stay, and no drawing here is authoritative.
Accuracy. Buildings are altered, operators change and names change. We give no warranty that any entry is current or complete. The month shown on an entry records when we last reviewed the sources for it.
What we do not publish. We do not publish opening times, schedules, availability, prices, star classifications or ratings. Nothing here is advice to buy, book or travel, and nothing here is professional, legal or financial advice.
External links. Links to other sites are provided for reference. We do not control those sites and accept no responsibility for their content or their practices.
Copyright. The text and the design of this site belong to its editors. You may quote a short passage with a link. Republishing entries in whole, or reproducing the site, requires written permission. Names of hotels and their marks belong to their owners and are used here descriptively.
Corrections. Anyone may report a factual error through the contact page, and a hotel may send a correction about its own building at any time. Where a correction is right, we amend the entry and update the month on it. We do not accept payment to add, change or remove an entry.
Liability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on this site or from a journey planned with it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes. These terms may be revised. The version published here is the one in force.
Casino hotels. The Casino Hotels section describes four buildings in Canada as architecture. It does not describe, promote or evaluate gambling, and it carries no odds, bonuses, promotions or links to gaming services. Casinos are for adults only, and the minimum age depends on where you are. If gambling stops being a game: in Ontario, ConnexOntario 1-866-531-2600; in Québec, 1-800-461-0140; in British Columbia, 1-888-795-6111. Outside Canada, look up the helpline for your own country.
